Delete Tasks
Each task in your list has a unique index which identifies it. Tasks can be deleted by simply entering delete
followed by the index of the task you would like to delete.
For example, delete 1
deletes the first task in the list.
Search for Tasks
Have an endless list of tasks that you can’t be bothered to sieve through? Simply type in find
followed by the search keyword and UwU TaskMaster will return you the tasks with names which contain or match the keyword you search for.
For example, find pla
will return the following filtered list of tasks from a larger list:
- DEADLINE water plants (By March 12 2023 2:00pm)[]
- TO-DO buy plates (By March 15 2023 10:00am)[]
Data Persistence
UwU TaskMaster writes all tasks to a .txt file in your application directory under a folder called userData
. This allows the bot to remember all your tasks on the next start up, so you do not have to worry about forgetting!
Mark Tasks as Complete/Incomplete
You can mark tasks as completed by the command mark
followed by the index of the task you would like to mark as completed.
For example, mark 3
will cause the checkbox beside the task to change from []
to [X]
, indicating that the task has been marked as completed. Similarly, a task is marked as incomplete or “undone” if the unmark
command is used instead.
